Funimation, Sony Pictures and Cineplex are bringing 2001’s Cowboy Bebop: The Movie – Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door to Canadian theatres this month. The movie is being re-released in Canada and the United States in conjunction with the original show’s 20th Anniversary. The film’s theatrical re-release and pending home-video relaunch marks the first public collaboration between Funimation and its new parent company Sony Pictures. The latter originally released Cowboy Bebop: The Movie – Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door in 2003 through its Destination Films label. Continue reading
