Tenkai Knights premieres on Teletoon September 28
Produced by Spin Masters, Shogakukan Productions, and Studio Bones Tenkai Knights aims to be the next big boys action brand. The show launched in the US on August 24th, and now Teletoon has announced that they’ll being broadcasting the series just under a month later. Premiering on Saturday, September 28th at 2PM ET/PT, the network will air four back-to-back episodes, with an encore scheduled for the next day starting at 7AM. From then on the show will premiere on Saturday mornings at 7:30 AM. Teletoon describes the plot of the 52 episode series as:
Teenagers Guren, Ceylan, Chooki, and Toxsa were not planning on being heroes when they accidentally stumbled into an inter-dimensional portal. Ripped through space and time, the boys reemerged on a different world as shape-shifting robots. Known as Bravenwolf, Tributon, Lydendor, and Valorn, they have become the legendary Tenkai Knights! Now they must battle the evil Vilius and his henchmen to help save the world of Quarton.
The Los Angeles dubbed series launches alongside an extensive shape shifting brick toyline from Spin Masters called Ionix. In addition to the TV show, and toyline there will also be a heavy online component from webisodes, to online games.
