YTV about to go Beyblade crazy

Remember Beyblade Metal Fusion? The 2009 reboot to the popular Beyblade franchise? Well, since May 15, the series has been airing on YTV (big surprise there, as sister company Nelvana co-produces the show). However, in an attempt to allow Cartoon Network in the US to catch up to the Canadian broadcast, for both nations to have simultaneous toy releases, after June 26, YTV began airing repeats of the series. What they didn’t expect was that Cartoon Network would schedule premieres for both Saturdays and Sundays. So sure enough, this past Saturday, Cartoon Network took the lead over YTV in broadcast of the series.
But things are far from over. In addition to that super anime lineup, YTV will be including the series in the Zone starting August 30. But this isn’t going to be a once a week affair, it isn’t even going to be a daily episode. Oh no, there will be two episodes of Beyblade Metal Fusion airing in the Zone Mondays through Fridays. That’s right, eight episodes a week in the Zone, and two on Saturdays, for a total of ten episodes of Beyblade Metal Fusion on YTV a week. Insane. The Zone broadcasts will start at episode 1, where as the Saturday broadcasts will be maintaining the current repeat phase.
Beyblade Metal Fusion gets in the Zone August 30 at 2:50 and 3:20PM EST.
